Why should I pay more taxes?

This is from Letters to the editor in our newspaper (Sat 11.3.2012)

Obama has poor business track record

The following are companies that were funded by the current administration and that are now bankrupt, taking with them the tax dollars listed after their names.
All these companies were supplied with our tax dollars in an attempt to choose the winners and they all ended up being losers.
Do you think a person with a business background would have made such a blunder in wasting our hard earned tax dollars?
It is time to have someone in office who understands business.

4. Beacon Power ($69 million)
5. EnerDel’s subsidiary Ener1 ($118.5 million)
6. Abound Solar ($374 million)

9. Energy Conversion Devices ($13.3 million)
10. Mountain Plaza, Inc. ($2 million)
11. Olsen’s Crop Service and Olsen’s Mills Acquisition Company ($10 million)

13. Thompson River Power ($6.4 million)
14. Stirling Energy Systems ($7 million)
15. LSP Energy ($2.1 billion)
16. UniSolar ($100 million)

My answer to this letter - When you total all these up it is a staggering number of  3,890,700,000.00 (basically about 3.9 BILLION)  Why should I be paying taxes if the government is just throwing away my money?  Why should my family work so hard at our jobs just to pay more taxes to government who tries pick winners or losers in business?  The government should not take my money which I could use to help my own business stay in business.  The government is giving it to Losers!!!  No more risks taking.  The government should stay out of the business world and do what it is supposed to do - Take care of the National defense and stay our of our way!
