From Newsmax
A comment by President Obama that Vladimir Putin looked "like the bored
kid in the back of the classroom" apparently "infuriated" the Russian
president, The New York Times reported Wednesday.
The comment came Aug. 9 at a news conference concerning a showdown with
Putin over Edward Snowden, the former defense contractor who leaked
top-secret details of the National Security Agency's surveillance
programs.
Putin ultimately gave Snowden temporary asylum over the objections of
Obama, and the president was asked about his working relationship with
the Russian leader.
"I know the press likes to focus on body language, and he's got that
kind of slouch, looking like the bored kid in the back of the classroom.
But the truth is that when we're in conversations together, oftentimes
it's very productive," Obama said.
The president went on to say that he didn't have "a bad personal
relationship with Putin," and that "when we have conversations, they’re
candid, they’re blunt; oftentimes, they’re constructive."
But Putin was not amused — and the remark just "intensified" Putin's
suspicion of Obama, as did his abrupt cancellation of a meeting
scheduled for next week in Moscow, The Times reported.
"The comment infuriated" Putin, The Times said, citing an unnamed Russian official.

Obama is at it again
Obama accuses the GOP of trying to "Gum up the Works" for ObamaCare. But HE is the one gumming them up. Just see what his administration has done so far -
Medicare Cuts - Delayed
Employer Mandate - Delayed
Subsidy verification - Delayed
Out of pocket caps - Delayed
2000 plus businesses and unions - Waivers
Congress - Waivers
The only thing the GOP has done is tried to defund ObamaCare, but they have not been very successful. So who is the one gumming up the works and who is the one who lies all the time and talks badly about the republicans? Obama!

Obama clown - Making a Mountain out of a mole hill
Too many people have forgotten all the things they did to Bush and they never went up in arms over anything "inappropriate" they did to Bush. Why are the fighters for descency not including everyone?!?
Article from TownHall by Katie Pavlich
If you were planning to wear an Obama mask for Halloween, just prepare yourself for charges of racism (like you've never heard that before). Last weekend at a rodeo in Missouri, a rodeo clown wore an Obama mask during his performance. Naturally, his decision to do so sparked faux politically correct outrage not only in Missouri, but throughout the country.
President Obama mask appeared at a Missouri State Fair rodeo this weekend and the announcer asked the enthusiastic spectators if they wanted to see "Obama run down by a bull."But guess what? In 1994, a President George H.W. Bush dummy was set up at a rodeo and actually attacked by a bull. No outrage ensued. Nobody was banned or fired. H/T Noel Sheppard.
The antics led the state's second highest-ranking official, Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, to denounce the performance in a tweet Sunday. He said it was "disrespectful" to the president.
"We are better than this," the Republican tweeted.
State Fair officials said the show was "inappropriate" and "does not reflect the opinions or standards" of the fair. "We strive to be a family friendly event and regret that Saturday's rodeo badly missed that mark," they said in a statement Sunday.
The big white gate flew open. The bull came out bucking. The rider flopped from side to side and the bullfighters held back, letting the bull make his moves until the rider dropped off. Licciardello crouched in a heavily padded barrel, a human target should the bull decide to charge. Hawkins waited near the barrel, holding his big inner tube. A dummy with a George Bush mask stood beside the clown, propped up by a broomstick. [...]Regardless, the guy from Missouri has been permanently banned.
T.J. Hawkins rolled out the big inner tube, and the bull lowered his head, shot forward and launched into the tube, sending it bounding down the center of the arena. The crowd cheered. Then the bull saw the George Bush dummy. He tore into it, sending the rubber mask flying halfway across the sand as he turned toward the fence, sending cowboys scrambling up the fence rails, hooking one with his horn and tossing him off the fence.
Missouri State Fair officials have banned for life the rodeo clown who wore a President Obama mask while facing bulls at the event over the weekend. And now of course, the NAACP wants the Department of Justice to investigate the clown.
The clown in question engaged in an “unconscionable stunt” and will never perform at the Show Me state venue again, the Missouri State Fair Commission said Monday, in a statement. Fair officials are also reviewing their contract with the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association, the contractor responsible for hiring and overseeing bull ring clowns.
The performance was “inappropriate and not in keeping with the Fair’s standards," said the statement.
The president of the Missouri NAACP chapter has called for the Secret Service and Department of Justice to investigate an “incendiary event” at the Missouri State Fair involving a rodeo clown in an Obama mask.Apparently rodeo clowns aren't allowed to do things in the name of comedy but left-leaning Hollywood celebrities sure are. Everyone just needs to calm down. The outrage over this incident is more outrageous than the incident itself.
“The activities at the Missouri State Fair targeting and inciting violence against our President are serious and warrant a full review by both the Secret Service and the Justice Department,” Mary Ratliff declared Tuesday.

The Sequestration Worked!!!
We are being told that the economy is getting better. That must mean that the Sequestration worked, by cutting government spending things are getting better! Yeah! It is interesting to note that Obama predicted all sorts of catastrophes if the Republicans didn't do something about the Sequestration. Nothing of the kind happened. Nothing catastrophic happened! One thing to note is that he said there would be long lines at the airports, but funny thing is that when the Congress had to fly home for a recess it only took them one day to make some changes to the Sequestration cuts to make sure they didn't have any problems flying home. Interesting how they can get things done quickly if they are being affected.

Closing of the Embassies
Ted Coppel said
"Take a look at what has been happening this past week. With a conference call. Al quiida has effectly shut down 20 US embassies around North Africa and the middle east. There will continue to be a specific threat There will continue to be terrorism as it has been for as long as Human history exists. Terrorism is simply the weapon by which the weak engage the strong. What they do is they cause the strong - in this case us - to overreact."
KT McFarland commented "It's not overreaction or under-reaction, it's incompetent reaction."

Chris Matthews: Obama Is Missing Key Leadership Skills
Liberal Democrat and MSNBC commentator Chris Matthews says President
Barack Obama lacks leadership skills when compared with other presidents
like John F. Kennedy or Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
"The key political asset is the ability to sit in a room with four or five other people, and have them accept your leadership," the MSNBC host of "Hardball" said on the cable network's "Morning Joe" program.
Matthews said that while it took years for Kennedy and Roosevelt to develop their speaking skills, they worked first to build personal relationships.
Article by Wanda Carruthers
"They were developing the back room skills, one-on-one skills. How you make friends. How you become [the popular] class president. How you establish the loyalty of people one-on-one," Matthews said on "Morning Joe."
While Obama had the "speaking skill way ahead of schedule," Matthews said he neglected to develop relationships among leaders in Washington and the world during his short time in the Senate and first term as president.
"He never developed a love of politics, love of other politicians — love to sit around and play cards with them, get to know them, their nuances, hooks, triggers, buttons. "Get to know them and figure out how you can work with some of them," Matthews said.
He added that "even tough customers like [House Majority Leader] Eric Cantor, [GOP political consultant]Larry McCarthy, [and House Speaker John] Boehner, get to know the tea party sentiment."

Media covering up for Obama
The AP covered up Obama's geography gaffe when he was on late night comedian show Jay Leno. Obama said,
"If we don't deepen our ports all along the Gulf, places like Charlston, South Carolina or Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida. If we don't do that those ships are going to go some place else." They are port cities but not a single one is in the gulf. They are on the Atlantic ocean.
So the AP did a little editing, parenthetically, to help out the president by writing " If we don't deepen our ports all along the Gulf...(and in) places like Charleston, S.C, or Savannah,Ga, or Jacksonville, Fla..if we don't do that, these ships are going to go someplace else"
This is not the first time that Obama has included these cities as part of the Gulf. On July 25 as he was in Jacksonville, FL. He said "some of these gulf ports...Charleston, Savannah..."
The media has been much less forgiving in the past for presidential speech blunders. Larry Sabato, from the University of Virginia, said "Nobody thinks that AP would have fixed up this quote for George W. Bush. In fact, the presidential mistake would have made the headlines and been instant fodder the late-night hosts like Leno. The media sees Obama as 'smart' while Bush was 'stupid'. Thus, Obama simple had a slip of the tongue while Bush would have demonstrated foot-in-mouth disease."

Jounalist fired for headline
Taken from an article written by Todd Starnes
The Chattanooga Times Free Press editorial page editor who criticized President Obama’s jobs plan ...is now out of a job.
Drew Johnson’s editorial, titled “Take your jobs plan and shove it, Mr. President: Your policies have harmed Chattanooga enough,” went viral and drew national attention earlier this week when President Obama visited the city. The newspaper released a statement Thursday saying Johnson had been fired for “placing a headline on an editorial outside of normal editing procedures.”
“The headline was inappropriate for this newspaper,” the statement read. “It was not the original headline approved for publication, and Johnson violated the normal editing process when he changed the headline.”
Johnson, who had been with the newspaper for just over a year, addressed his firing on Twitter.
“I just became the first person in the history of newspapers to be fired for writing a paper’s most-read article,” he tweeted. Johnson defended the headline, noting that “we change headlines all the time without incident or issue.”

Obama Promises to Help Congressional Staffers Avoid Obamacare
The following was taken from Breibart.com. It just makes me upset that Congress thinks they are the better class then us lowly citizens.
Washington has been abuzz for months over the fear and loathing that Congressional staffers have for Obamacare. Many staffers and employees on Capitol Hill have been saying they’ll have to quit Washington if they are forced into Obamacare. Now the President is promising to fix it all for them.
At the very beginning of his closed-door meeting with Senate Democrats, the President addressed staffers’ worries that Obamacare will force them to quit working in Washington, promising “I’m on it.”

Currently congressional staffers have 75 percent of their healthcare
insurance paid by taxpayers, but if their Cadillac Congressional
healthcare plan is ended and staffers are pushed into Obamacare, many
Congressional employees fear that their insurance costs will increase by
thousands of dollars a year. This cost, many say, will force them to
quit working in Washington.
The Republican-sponsored amendment to Obamacare introduced by Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) would require that lawmakers and their staffers must be covered by the same insurance exchanges that the rest of America will be forced into as mandated by Obama’s healthcare law. It is this amendment that staffers are protesting.
Some Republicans have joined Democrats in efforts to exempt staffers from Obamacare, but not all. Senator Richard Burr of North Carolina recently said that Congress should have to live with the same law that everyone else does.
"I have no problems with Congress being under the same guidelines," Burr said. "I think if this is going to be a disaster--which I think it’s going to be--we ought to enjoy it together with our constituents."
A spokesperson for the House Ways and Means Committee chaired by Republican Dave Camp of Michigan echoed Sen. Burr's sentiment.
"If the ObamaCare exchanges are good enough for the hardworking Americans and small businesses the law claims to help," the spokesperson said, "then they should be good enough for the president, vice president, Congress and federal employees."
